Pooja’s Little Free Library Adventure: Spreading Stories One Box at a Time
Hello, friends of Pooja and tiny book havens!
This week in Sedona, I tucked a free copy of Pooja: Destiny Awaits into a Little Free Library—and poof, it was gone in a flash! That instant checkout lit a spark—Pooja’s story is reaching kids and families one small box at a time. With 50 hardcover copies ($25.00 each) in hand and a buzzing X (@PoojaAdventures) at 15 followers, I’m thrilled to share how Little Free Libraries fit into our adventure—and sell more books to keep the magic alive!
The Little Free Library Magic
Little Free Libraries are like mini treasure chests—wooden boxes popping up on lawns, corners, and parks, inviting anyone to “take a book, leave a book.” Started in 2009 by Todd Bol in Wisconsin, it’s now a global movement—over 150,000 registered libraries across 120+ countries! In Sedona, I found one nestled among red rocks, its shelves a mix of worn paperbacks and bright kids’ titles. Dropping Pooja: Destiny Awaits—a South Indian puppy’s tale of kindness—felt right. Seeing it vanish so fast? That’s the magic—someone’s reading Pooja right now, maybe sketching her adventures too!
Why It Matters
These little libraries aren’t just cute—they’re connectors. They bring books to kids who might not hit a big library, sparking curiosity in unexpected places. Pooja’s story fits perfectly—helping animals worldwide, she’s a tiny ambassador for big ideas. My Sedona drop echoes what’s brewing—15 X followers chatting daily, 7-10 web hits climbing with each blog, a Sedona Library pitch to Vivian (book dropped Monday!), and a Ruston reading set for May 28 at Lincoln Parish Library. Every free copy plants a seed—sales (like the 50 I’ve got!) water it.
